करीब ₹2 करोड़ से भी कम बजट में बनी ‘हनुमान अंश’ ने एक महीने के भीतर ₹100 करोड़ का आँकड़ा पार कर लिया और आगे चलकर भारत में लगभग ₹193 करोड़ का ग्रॉस कलेक्शन दर्ज किया। फिल्म को हिंदी सिनेमा की सर्वाधिक रिटर्न-ऑन-इन्वेस्टमेंट देने वाली फिल्मों में गिना जा रहा है।

इस ऐतिहासिक सफलता के साथ ज्योतिषाचार्य जगजीत सिंह वालिया की 11 अगस्त 2026 को फेसबुक पर प्रकाशित भविष्यवाणी भी विशेष चर्चा में आ गई है। उस दिन, जब फिल्म अभी बड़ी व्यावसायिक सफलता से बहुत दूर थी, उन्होंने ग्रहों की स्थिति का अध्ययन करते हुए लिखा था:

रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुँच गए। सरकार ने बाद में मिलों को पर्याप्त आपूर्ति बनाए रखने और कीमतों को नियंत्रित रखने के निर्देश दिए। रिपोर्टों के अनुसार कीमतों में दो महीनों के भीतर लगभग 20 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई थी।

इसी दौरान दिल्ली में सब्सिडी वाले चावल के आवंटन और बिक्री को लेकर बड़ा राजनीतिक विवाद सामने आया। आम आदमी पार्टी ने इस व्यवस्था में तीन वर्षों के दौरान

लगभग ₹22,000 करोड़ के कथित घोटाले की आशंका जताई। दिल्ली सरकार के मंत्री ने इन आरोपों का खंडन किया और कानूनी कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी। इसलिए ₹22,000 करोड़ की राशि को प्रमाणित घोटाला नहीं, बल्कि राजनीतिक आरोप के

रूप में ही प्रस्तुत किया जाना उचित है।

बाद में सीबीआई ने चावल आवंटन में कथित अनियमितताओं से संबंधित एक अलग मामले में एफआईआर दर्ज की, जिसमें सरकारी खजाने को लगभग ₹28.87 करोड़ के नुकसान का आरोप लगाया गया।

its fifth day in theatres.

What followed, however, was an extraordinary box-office transformation.

Produced on a reported budget of less than ₹2 crore, Hanuman Ansh crossed ₹100 crore within a month and later recorded approximately ₹193 crore in gross collections across India. It has consequently been described as one of Hindi cinema’s highest-return-on-investment films.

In July 2026, Astrologer Jagjit Singh Walia had also discussed retrograde Saturn’s movement through Revati Nakshatra, which is governed by Mercury. He predicted that rice, sugar, milk and other white-

coloured food commodities could experience major changes involving prices, availability or public controversy.

In August, sugar prices in India reached a record high. The government subsequently directed sugar mills to maintain adequate supplies and keep prices reasonable. Reports stated that prices had risen by approximately 20 per cent within two months.

Around the same period, a major political controversy emerged in Delhi concerning subsidised rice. The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that the proposed arrangement could develop into a ₹22,000-crore scam

over three years. The Delhi minister concerned rejected the allegations and threatened legal action. The ₹22,000-crore figure must

therefore be described as a political allegation, not as an established or judicially proven scam.

The CBI later registered a separate FIR concerning alleged irregularities in rice allocation, involving an estimated loss of ₹28.87 crore to the public exchequer.
